FIRST VERSE:

Our blind eyes glued to the screen
Like the news never lies to our faces
Lobbied by corporate greed
The truth that lies at it’s core is vacant.
Reinforced to the point of disease
Brainwashing that’s been passed down for generations
Can’t reverse the mind frame we’re placed in
Cause our portal to the outside’s misinformation
Our commercial way of life is so fabricated
It’s like diet soda, decaffeinated.

The beast says what we have is nothing
So we feed it to fill the void
Our ego’s attached as they distort our flaws
Till our souls been raptured by the corporate Gods
With goods manufactured overseas,
For cents an hour in sweatshops.
We’re all followers our friends believe the same,
So we can’t be convinced that we’re all insane.
